We believe that developing life skills is an essential aspect in the empowerment of the most vulnerable members of our community. This is done in order to ensure long-lasting and meaningful results, and to strengthen the capacities of local organizations and institutions.
– The Iraqi Community Centre: This centre provided vocational and life-skills training and recreational activities to Iraqi youth and adults.
– Treatment Capacities & Activators Training: We build awareness about mental health treatment for partner organizations Blue Mission supports building the mental health treatment capacities of partner organizations such as the ADN in Tripoli and Zaituna in Saida/Ein El‑Hilweh and provides training for activators in the educational sector in the Bekaa Valley, Tripoli and Akkar.
– Professional Development: In 2009, Blue Mission collaborated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to offer training to educators and supervisors with the aim of providing sustainable professional development mechanisms and to assist educators in promoting a supportive, inclusive and caring environment for children.
